This Kanata ensuite transformation has breathed new life into a previously dated and impractical space. It is now a tranquil and luxurious retreat.
The original layout featured a less-than-ideal arrangement with the toilet placed awkwardly next to the entrance and a floor-to-ceiling partition separating it from the vanity. A large linen closet and bathtub that was never used further hampered functionality for our clients.
By reimagining the layout, we were able to reclaim valuable space and greatly enhance the flow and usability of this ensuite bathroom. We swapped the positions of the toilet and vanity while removing the oversized closet, creating a new area where our clients can sit down, hang towels and store towels and toilettries.
A soothing and refined colour scheme of navy, gold, white, and silver sets the tone for the room. The shower, with its nearly curbless design courtesy of a low-profile shower floor, adds a practical touch.
Textured wallpaper and knurled faucet handles introduce subtle elements of luxury. Through a thoughtfully curated mix of shapes and materials, we've crafted an elevated experience that has made a much more enjoyable space for the homeowners to relax and unwind.
